IIGS to Celebrate Darbar-E-Khalsa at a Large Scale

POMONA, CA - The International Institute of Gurmat Studies will celebrate on a large scale Darbar-E-Khalsa commemorating 347th Prakash Utsav of Guru Gobind Singh and the 27th founding anniversary of the IIGS on December 25 at Fairplex L.A. County Fair grounds, 1101 W. McKinley Avenue, Pomona from 7a.m. to 3p.m.
The program will start with Aasa Di Vaar early at 7a.m. and soothing Shabad kirtans by renounced Raagi Jathas and Children’s groups, short speeches, poems, awards, sumptuous breakfast and Guru Ka Langar, Khalsa Bazaar and Khalsa Parade with thunderous Jaikaras and vidaigi by helicopter will be the highlights of the day long program.
Raagi Jatha Bhai Nirmal Singh Nagpuri, former prominent Hazoori Raagi of Darbar Sahib, Amritsar and other reputed Raagi Jathas will regale thousands of devotees.
To meet the expected expenses of about $65,000 on holding the Darbar-E-Khalsa, senior IIGS activist Kavi Raj Singh has appealed to the Sangat to generously and liberally donate their daswandh money to the Darbar-E-Khalsa expenditure.
